The Head of Marketing and Events at the National Lottery Authority, Benard Boamah, affirmed the authenticity of playing the Wina BIG game and assured Ghanaians about its credibility.

“At NLA, there is a department that supervises consumer promotions. The whole idea is to ensure the level of fairness and integrity in such processes. In the past, many times people put up such schemes and just planned to reward family and friends or undeserving individuals. However, the idea of getting it regulated is to ensure that there is a level of fairness and to give everybody an equal and fair opportunity to win once they participate in such games. Also, at the NLA, revenue that accrues from such regulatory fees goes through the NLA Good Causes Foundation.”
He emphasized the NLA’s dedication to promoting responsible gaming among young individuals and encouraged them to refrain from spending all their money on playing the game.
“At NLA, we also encourage responsible gaming, so we advise the youth not to use all their earnings for the game.”
Meanwhile, a lucky winner of the raffle conducted at the launch shared her excitement with Citi News.
“I am happy to have won 1500. I mean, I was expecting it, and I love anything related to the lottery, so I just tried it and I won.”
