Ghana’s impressive performance included 1 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze medals, establishing the country as a dominant force in the sport.
Despite this achievement, the 9 medals will not contribute to Ghana’s official medal tally as MMA is classified as a ‘demonstration sport’ at the Games.
As of now, Ghana has earned 5 official medals, comprising 1 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals. The host nation currently occupies the 12th position on the medals table, with Egypt leading with a total of 94 medals after 5 days of competition.
